Tacos in the food area were awesome and I will be headed back soon to enjoy the rest of the store. Looked over the produce and found everything well cared for and very fresh. The meat market was well stocked and had all cuts and many fresh cheeses. Great place for a true Mexican market!!

I went here to get ingredients for the Mole I was planning to cook. It’s a fairly big grocery store with lots of options. I found all the chilies I was looking for along with the rest of the ingredients. They were also very helpful in helping me locate the ingredients since I am not a Mexican.

This is my go-to Mexican market in Livermore. The staff are very helpful and friendly, plus they have just about everything you need. Dry goods, baked goods, seafood and meat counters, plus a hot food counter with some of the best meals at very reasonable prices.

If you're ever looking to host a party, be sure to check out their Taquiza menu. They do all the cooking for you and the prices are very fair (see menu photo).

I’ve ate at Restaurant inside Contreras Market a few times and the Food is really Good! It has that Authentic Mexican food taste that you can tell was made from scratch and not something out of a can.
Come give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The best taqueria in Livermore. Always busy and if you ask nicely they may make you quesabirras. ? The meat counter has the best steak and chicken for tacos. So glad to have this spot for authentic Mexican food.

Great meat department, bakery, and offers a variety of authentic hispanic foods and spices in the grocery store, but none of it compares to the authentic homestyle cooking in the taqueria. It's phenomenal food. Some of the best Mexican food in Livermore and Tri-valley in general.
