I’m so happy to have stumbled upon this quaint little Turkish market during the art & wine Faire. So many gorgeous Turkish delights, pastries, baklava in the front case and they serve fresh Turkish coffee! Also so many interesting imported beverages (like flavored mineral waters), chocolates, nuts, snacks, teas and other neat pantry goods. I yearned for a cultural addition to Laurel street just like this one 🙂

Found this bazaar/grocery store one afternoon. On a Thursday afternoon in San Carlos it’s not busy at all and there’s parking close by. What a cool place! For $6 I tried Turkish coffee which is served with a small sweet called lokum. Rice pudding served with cinnamon and hazelnuts is $6.99. The store is carb heaven- so many kinds of Turkish sweets and cookies. Now to go to Istanbul!

Great options for fresh and packaged Turkish food. Prices on par with Whole foods but better to get from the source if you ask me! Tahini and Aleppo spice were both great. Chocolate baklava left us drooling ? can't wait to go back and also try the deli/meat!

Found this place while meandering aimlessly. They had a wide selection of groceries but the highlight was the selection of sweets.

The coffee was really good too!

A charming new addition to Laurel street. Really friendly management - I loved their Baklava and Simit (Turkish bagel). It is a must visit if you want to get your fix of middle eastern delights

Hey, it’s a unique store and you can get Turkish stuff you can’t find easily elsewhere.

We bought a couple Turkish delight rolls which are charged by weight. The fudge one was the best but the purple and pistachio nut one was also good.

The baklava was nice. Or overly sweet and just the right amount of crumblyness.
