Lovely spacious house in a quaint village location. Rooms were well furnished and the house very clean. Bathrooms were in excellent order. Good outside space catching the sun for large parts of the day with a good sized, well maintained pool to cool off in. Lots of bigger towns and attractive landmarks to visit in the area and within easy driving distance. Many restaurants serving an excellent and well priced Menu Du Jour, again within easy driving distance. A thoroughly relaxing break. Will definitely look to revisit again.

A beautiful well equipped spacious house and lovely pool. The kitchen diner area is great for a large group of people.
Chalabre is a typical French village with a couple of friendly cafe/bars and a bakery. A really relaxing week.Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic 10 days at Maison Carree. It is a lovely house which is perfect for groups or families. The swimming pool was perfect for the hot days. All the rooms in the house are large and the bbq area is brilliant. The village has a butchers, bakery, small supermarket and 2 bars. You can take your pastry into the bar next door when you order coffee. Their are 2 lakes close by to split up the week and some decent markets a drive away for a mooch around. All in all a lovely part of france and a very relaxing week. Recommend highly

Such a gorgeous location with beautiful walks & views on your doorstep. Huge gardens with a lovely pool that the kids & adults both really enjoyed. A really beautiful spacious house with a lovely kitchen/dining room for dinners with family/friends, comfy beds, lots of lounging/social areas and even table tennis. Super clean and tidy with everything you could need. Would 1000% recommend! Thank you for having us 💕

The house had everything we expected and more. It comfortably accommodated our large group with lots of space and bathrooms. The basement was a huge hit with the teenagers. The pool was very welcome on a hot day. Chalabre itself is perfect and has everything you might need but small enough to get to know faces and places. We had a great time chilling at the house and exploring the beautiful surrounding villages and countryside.

Everything you need for a large group and more. Outside, the heated swimming pool and bbq area gave us hours of outdoor entertainment. Inside with its comfortable living room, well equipped kitchen with large dining table, games and upstairs living space was ideal for our group of different age groups. A real home from home experience.
