Very disappointed with my experience at sabzi mandi. I bought delight pani puri packet which has no expiry date on it.
When i went there to store again to check that only i received a package without expiry dates or what but when i went there and i was shock to see that there were many packages without expiry dates, some are already expired on 20th October 2024 ,others labeled as fresh until 2025—all mixed together on the same shelf. Even worse, I found a snail in the mint I purchased. When I showed a photo to the cashier, she asked for the mint as ‘proof’ and she didn’t even try to see the photo,she was asking for mint how carzy is she who will keep the mint with snail at their home ,instead of addressing the issue. There is zero customer service here. Quality control and basic courtesy need serious improvement.

I recently purchased a peanut packet from this store and was horrified to find crawlers inside the packet. This is completely unacceptable and a major health hazard. I had to throw out the entire bag of peanuts, which is incredibly disappointing. See the pictures attached for proof. I will not be purchasing from here again and advise others to be cautious as well.

We did grocery yesterday 09th december 2024 and we bought dairy product like hans dairy dahi..We opened today morning 10th December 2024. the product is spoiled.

Eggs tray i bought yesterday 12 eggs i boiled to make egg onion boiled egg curry.After boiling with water and salt for 30min also we cant peel egg shell..Loss of my money
Other things are good in this sabzi mandi.Needs to check quality of these eggs.
Govt should take proper health safety check on this

Sabji Mandi is my go-to spot for all things Indian! The variety of fresh produce, spices, and authentic Indian groceries is unbeatable. I can always find exactly what I need, whether it's for everyday cooking or a special recipe. The store is well-organized, and the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They even carry some hard-to-find items that you won't get in regular grocery stores. Prices are reasonable, and the quality is top-notch. Like or not, we visit this place regularly. The store is under little bit of renovation and you can see the signage. There is advertising wall if you are looking for room.

You can find all type of grocery under one roof. You can find everything from food, oil and wheats.

Further disappointed with this place. Bought garlic bread on recent visit. I tried to find expiry date on the packet but could not fine it. I assumed that the staff must have ensured good stuff. Really shocked when I opened the packet today to find it had fungus and already spoiled. This is really shocking. Don't buy anything without checking expiry date.

We are visiting this place from the first day we landed in Canada. It used to be our shopping place for daily grocery.

You can find all kinds of Indian groceries, food stuff, snacks and other stuff. So you may visit place if you live nearby, otherwise there is no speciality.

Sadly the quality of the place is going down and you will not find many items.

Also had bad experience recently. We bought roti maker from the place and found that parts are missing. Staff refused to replace even it is not used once. So if you are buying any stuff, ask for written guarantee.
