I have been going to Baz and Banks since I moved to Toronto a few years ago as it was recommended to me by a friend. Everyone knows how difficult it can be to find a new stylist, but in so glad I was recommended this place. I love getting my hair done here soo much because it’s super welcoming, it’s a STUNNING salon, and has the best atmosphere/people. Plus I get to watch Housewives for like 4 hours so…. Win win! I was at the salon last week and chopped off my hair and my stylist Lindsay Rao did not disappoint. See pic below ✨✨ Highly recommend going!!

If you have coarse, thick East Asian hair and are struggling to find a stylist who cuts dry and then washes to achieve the most accurate cut for your hair type, I highly recommend seeing Annie. I couldn’t find anyone in Toronto who truly knew how to work with my hair type and texture until I went to her. I specifically see Annie because she expertly layers my dense hair in a way that preserves length, maintains volume, and lightens the weight. Every time my hair grows out, it does so evenly and cohesively—since I started seeing her, I’ve never had that awkward "growing-out" phase. Not only does Annie have a deep knowledge of hair, impressive talent, and great instincts, but she’s also an attentive listener and a true collaborator. Her goal is always to help you look and feel your best.

Just got my hair toned and blow dried by Sony at Baz and Banks!! She was the best!! Clearly she listened closely during our consult, because my hair turned out exactly as I wanted it to. Not to mention that head massage at the sink - absolutely life changing. Would send friends to Sony & Baz and Banks in a heartbeat!!

I go to Lindsay R and I know she will always have me loving my hair, no matter what we decide to do. She is so good at what she does, and she’s also just a lovely person to hang out with for a few hours while you get your hair done!

Sam is an amazing hairdresser. I have that thick coarse textured Asian hair that's a bit wild and hard to style, but Sam does a wonderful job of cutting and styling it. The location of the salon is a bit out of my way, but I make the trek because he is that good. He's also very friendly and down to earth, and I always leave feeling like I look like a million bucks. The space itself is also super cute. Highly recommend!

I just had the best hair appointment of my life with Sadie. She performed a remarkable colour correction and complete transformation of my hair, I cried when I saw myself for the first time. Not only is she incredibly professional, but also genuinely friendly. My experience couldn't have been more positive. Sadie was meticulous with every detail of the appointment. During our prior consultation, her communication was both thorough and thoughtful. The salon's atmosphere is stunning, clearly reflecting a work culture filled with love and support.
